2026 + 215

Again, Alhamdulillah and Bismillah.
I last wrote 108 days ago. I thought about writing so many times but somehow never started. I just reread my post 2026 + 107 and realized it was almost only about sports. If you ask what happened in those 108 days, the thing that will shape my life most is getting engaged. To many people it may look sudden, but it wasn’t — I had always been looking for someone who would walk the same path with me. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave me the best for me.

Burak Bayram engagement

In the last 108 days I’ve gotten very close to artificial intelligence. I’ve entered a period where I enjoy being an engineer more than ever. The biggest gift AI gave me is this: things I dreamed about in high school but didn’t have time for, that felt hard to learn — I can do so many of them now. Alhamdulillah my health is good and I can work. Being able to work, and work on what you want, is a huge blessing. I know that and I thank Allah for it every day. The most visible thing I’ve built with AI right now is myRota.

But in the background there are many more things I’m still building and testing. AI made my work easier — and also created hundreds of new tasks. Because the more I build, the more I want to dive into. When I say AI, don’t think of “I’m sick, what do I have?” or “The sink is clogged, how do I fix it?” There is no hard limit to what you can do.

Want to build something like Iron Man’s Jarvis? You can. You can get help on math problems that have waited years unsolved. Imagination used to matter less — at least for people without money, dreams often stayed idle. Now the chance of turning what you want into reality is much higher. Catch this train. People who ride it will move forward. Every era has its openings; I think this is one of them. You just need to learn to use it wisely.

I used to share a lot of detail about what I did. But in this life I’ve learned: the quieter you move (with some exceptions), the more efficiently and beautifully you progress. You need to know when to speak and when to stay silent. You need to choose carefully how much detail you give, and to whom.

By the way, you can now read this blog post on my site in 4 languages: Turkish, English, Japanese and Spanish. That’s another gift AI made possible. I also finally moved my website to burakbayram.com. I’d been after that domain since 2008, and it was written that in 2026 I could continue the site on it. If you ask whether manual writing still matters in the AI age — I love it, friends. Writing is beautiful. And as my ability to write prompts improved, oddly enough I started writing faster too.

What else is there to say — take care, stay well. May Allah keep you. Peace.
