Starting his football career at age 9 in the Gençlerbirliği academy, Arda Güler caught Fenerbahçe’s attention at 14 and joined their youth setup. He began playing for the Fenerbahçe U16 team in 2019 and moved up to the U19 side two years later. Promoted to the first team in July 2021, the young player stands out with his command of his left foot.

The Fraport TAV Antalyaspor match played in Kadıköy in the 2021-2022 season was his first in the Süper Lig. Coming on in the 86th minute at 16 years old, Arda Güler assisted a goal. He went on to wear the shirt in 32 Süper Lig matches and found the net 7 times.

With the superb goal he scored in the 80th minute of the Wales match in Samsun, he drew the attention of two of Europe’s biggest clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid. In the 2022-2023 season the young talent made history as the first Turkish footballer to transfer to Real Madrid straight from a domestic academy.

Real Madrid faced Real Sociedad in week 33 of La Liga. Arda Güler started in the 11 for the first time in the league and shook the net in the 26th minute. With that goal, he became the 2nd youngest player since 2000 to score for Real Madrid in his first La Liga start.

With his performances on the pitch, Arda Güler continues to be both the pride of Turkey and Real Madrid’s rising star.
