The charger of the laptop I bought in 2013 started wearing out over the years, its cables beginning to fall apart. As a solution I decided to wrap it in leather and cord. I had done the same for my Mac’s cable before and noticed it really worked — it pretty much eliminated the wear. So I decided to take this Windows machine a step further and cover it in leather all the way down to the power brick.
As a first step, I cut a piece of leather to size so it would fully cover the top section, then stitched it over the power brick so it fits like a garment.
