To give the full model name, it’s the Toshiba Portege Z10t-A-11Z. Before getting into the specs, I want to thank Microsoft for this half-tablet, half-computer. It was one of the items handed out to all MSPs through the Microsoft Student Partner programme — well, we sort of picked, but long story. Now without diving too deep into the technical side, let’s look at what’s good and what isn’t.
The reason I’m calling it half-tablet / half-laptop: with the keyboard dock attached, it’s no different from a normal laptop. Technically I’m calling it a laptop, but it’s classified as an Ultrabook. No different from a laptop — and, separately, no different from a tablet either. You can use it as a regular tablet, but the specs aren’t shy of laptops. The fact that it’s an Ultrabook makes the whole thing even nicer.

I have no complaints whatsoever about this tablet — honestly, every direction is good for me. The only issue is the audio. The touch surface even supports pressure sensitivity for drawing. Being light and small makes it easy to carry around. Friends who want to draw on it will be very comfortable — the only thing I’d say it’s missing compared to a Wacom is the function keys on the side. Thanks to the pens, you can draw easily.
